New Technical Steering Committee elected

Due to the big success of CAMARA in the past 18 months – number of companies in CAMARA increased to 240, number of participants in CAMARA increased to more than 700, CAMARA intended to be the organization defining the interfaces between telco industry and the end customers – we decided to strengthen the governance of the project. It’s a pleasure to announce that the first step is done now: A new TSC is established!

We wish Henry Calvert (GSMA), Jan Friman (Ericsson), George Glass (TM Forum), Chris Howell (Vonage), Doug Makishima (Summit Tech), Diego Gonzalez (Telefonica), Shilpa Padgaonkar (Deutsche Telekom), Adnan Saleem (Radisys Corporation), Kevin Smith (Vodafone), Massi(Massimiliano) Troiani (Verizon), Jose Luis Urien (Telefonica), Toshiyasu (Toshi) Wakayama (KDDI Corporation) and especially the new chair / deputy chairs Herbert Damker (Deutsche Telekom), Eric Murray (Vodafone), Ludovic Robert (Orange) all the best for their new role, and always luck and the right decisions.

With this step we want to move forward to be a reliable partner for GSMA Open Gateway and the whole industry on this planet. And we have also fantastic support from The Linux Foundation who is hosting CAMARA (more announcements will come soon 😉 ).
