THE LINUX FOUNDATION PROJECTS

The CAMARA Project, a leading initiative in advancing open, programmable networks, has announced the results of its latest Technical Steering Committee (TSC) and End-User Council (EUC) elections. These elections bring fresh perspectives to the project while continuing to strengthen collaboration across operators, vendors, and the open-source community.

Technical Steering Committee: New Faces and Continued Leadership

The CAMARA TSC, which oversees the project’s technical direction, has expanded its representation this year. The committee now includes 12 Sub-Project Representatives, up from 10, reflecting the growing scope and activity of the CAMARA ecosystem.

We are excited to welcome two new members to the TSC:

These newcomers join a distinguished group of experts, including:

Together, the TSC provides oversight, ensures technical alignment across sub-projects, and drives the CAMARA Project’s roadmap forward.

End-User Council: Amplifying the Voice of Users

The End User Council (EUC) is composed of the end users of the CAMARA APIs in the technical CAMARA Project. This year’s EUC election has re-introduced:

Looking Ahead

With the addition of new members, both the TSC and EUC are well-positioned to continue fostering innovation, open source collaboration, and the adoption of open networking solutions across the industry. The CAMARA Project remains committed to simplify telco complexity making APIs easy to consume for customers with no telco expertise (user-friendly APIs), to satisfy data privacy and regulatory requirements, and to facilitate application to network integration

Stay tuned for updates as the new TSC and EUC members begin their upcoming 2026 term, driving the next phase of CAMARA’s journey.
